Metropolitano Arena - Atlético Madrid The Wanda Metropolitano Arena, known as the Wanda Metropolitano for sponsorship reasons, is an arena in Madrid, Spain. It has been home to Atlético Madrid starting from the beginning of the 2017-18 season.[3] The arena is situated in the Rosas area, San Blas-Canillejas region. The arena was opened on 6 September 1994 by the Public authority of the Independent Locale of Madrid. The arena had a limit of 20,000 preceding shutting and resumed at a limit of 68,000.
